BBQ’s and Brews; Your Tasty Amelia Island Vacation
The luck of the Irish is coming to many states throughout the country to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in March, and when you plan your vacation to our little island you’ll find that there is more than just green beer and rainbows. This year when you visit, you’ll want to take part in our Amelia Island BBQ Rib Cookoff! Spend some time at the Amelia Island Plantation and then head over to the Main Beach for a great day and vacation.
Main Beach Cookoff
On March 17, 2018, you’ll want to bring the whole family to Amelia Island’s Main Beach for the best BBQ cookoff. This fantastic event is open to all ages, and it’s free if you just want to spend some time together. At Noon, plates of food are $10, and once they are gone, they are gone. It’s an excellent opportunity to taste over 50 teams serving up some of the best BBQ along the Florida coast. Plus, you can so enjoy the various other vendors that will be selling gifts and crafts. There will be a kids zone so your little ones can enjoy the day, while you dance to live music!
There is plenty of fantastic food locations to stop at while on your Amelia Island Plantation vacation, but you can only experience this BBQ event once a year, so don’t miss out!
